Singer and Songwriter

Hi hi! I’m Zoë! I’m a musician, singer-songwriter, and storyteller. I was born in the U.S. but spent seven years of my childhood living in South Africa, which shaped so much of how I see the world and how I approach music. I just graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Commercial Music, and now I’m excited to pursue my passion as a full-time musician.

Music and songwriting have always given me the confidence to use my voice unapologetically, in a way that’s valuable to me. What started as a way to process my own emotions has become a way to connect with people — to understand and to be understood. I care a lot about telling the truth and writing songs that say the quiet things out loud, even when it’s messy. Especially when it’s messy.

Releasing my own music has felt like standing in front of a crowd completely naked… but also like taking my power back. It’s raw and vulnerable and honest, but it’s me. I hope my songs help others feel heard the way they’ve helped me.

If you’ve heard my music, you’ll know that I have a deep obsession with experimental harmonies and sounds, and I hope to keep exploring the endless possibilities of music for the rest of my life. I’m so excited for what’s next and for you to be part of it!
